Bo
1995 - 2006

Bo first came to us from a woman in Georgia in 2000.  She had rescued him from a farm down the road and had cared for him for several years.  She did not have a fence, though, and could not keep Bo home.  So she asked us to find a home for him.  Over the years, Bo showed us that he was the King of Escape Artists and went on quite a few walk-abouts.  Unfortunately, this wanderlust kept Bo hopping from home to home.

Bo was quite a handsome fellow and he had a very noble & distinguished personality.   Bo loved children and children loved Bo.  He was like a magnet for the under 5 crowd and they were just the right height for hugs and sloppy kisses.

In late 2005, Bo found a loving home in South Carolina with Neval.  Neval changed Bo name to "Jakarta" and the two of them formed a wonderful friendship.   Bo/Jakarta loved to visit the river and run through the fields when they visited a friend's farm.

Unfortunately, at the end of Feb. 2006, Bo passed away unexpectedly.   Neval buried him under the pine trees at one of their favorite stops by the river.

Bo/Jakarta is deeply missed by all that knew him.
