Hoss
April 17, 2001 - August 17, 2009

Hoss was my first rescue.  I'll never forget the day Carleen came running out of her house as I walked Elvis (see also on Rainbow Bridge page) down the street.  Seems neither of us had ever realized another Anatolian lived in the same neighborhood!

My husband and I had been discussing getting another dog for Elvis to play with, when Carleen called to ask if we'd take a 9 mo old owner surrender.  We weren't sure at first, two males?  Would it work?  We gave it a shot.

Sure enough, it was as is they were long lost brothers!  Hoss became our first of many Anatolian fosters for NASRN.

Hoss was the "momma dog" to all our babies and the "Casanova" to all our females, over the 8 years he was with us.  He has the kindest, softest soul...

Hoss ended his battle with Degenerative Myelopathy on August 17, 2009.
