NASRN relies solely on donations to cover the
expenses incurred in rescuing ASDs from shelters and
private homes nationwide. Oftentimes, the dogs come to
us in need of extensive veterinary care before they can
be placed in new homes. All dogs are spayed or
neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and given whatever other
treatments they might require, often amounting to
hundreds of dollars.
Below are are examples of some of our costs. Your donation in any amount is greatly needed and
appreciated!
- $25 buys a month's supply of dog food for a
foster dog
- $35 pays to vaccinate a rescued dog
- $50 bails a dog out of a cheap shelter
- $65 bails a dog out of an average priced shelter
- $75 bails a dog out of a higher priced shelter
- $100 pays to neuter a male rescue dog
- $125 pays to spay a female rescue dog
- $125 pays for a week of boarding a rescue dog
when there is no immediate foster home
- $150 pays to help ship a rescued dog to its new
home
- $151+ would pay a portion of all of the above-mentioned
expenses to help save a dog from death
