PLATTSBURGH, NEW YORK Meet Archie! He is a very handsome, young adult, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd Dog. We estimate Archie's DOB to be appx 5/2017. Archie is fairly tall but he is still very lean at appx 70#. He will likely fill out as he matures. Archie is heartworm negative, fully vetted and in good health. Archie is a super sweet guy. He is going to do best in a home with another dog, preferably his age and size. He loves to run and wrestle and would be terribly lonely without a buddy. Archie will need an understanding and patient owner as he will likely have an adjustment period when he changes from foster to adoptive home. He is housebroken and likes being in the house but has not been willing to go up the stairs to the second floor yet in his foster home. Archie walks on leash fairly well. He has not been evaluated with children or livestock. Transport options may be available depending on where you live.
