Drake is a 1 year old male Anatolian Shepherd mix dog. He was abandoned by his owner and picked as a stray by an area shelter. Drake is very sweet but also very timid. He must be so confused wondering where his owner went. Although timid with shelter staff, he is doing well with other dogs. It might be good if his new family had a companion for him to ease his transition into new surroundings. Drake is a smaller Anatolian mix at 69 lbs. NASRN needs a foster to pull Drake from the shelter into our rescue program. When he is ready for adoption, transport within 1000 miles will be available but right now preference will be given to a foster within a four hour (or less) driving distance from the shelter.
