THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING
Meet Attila. He is a 2 year old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd mix. He currently weighs 87 lbs.
Attila has had a very rough life thus far. He was likely discarded by a farmer in Iran, his country of origin, after Attila had a broken leg. He then became a street dog and had to scavenge in order
to stay alive. His broken leg healed on its own, not in a perfect manner, but it does not interfere with Attila 's day to day life. He is quite active and does not seem to have any major limitations.
Attila was rescued by some very gracious, kindhearted people and made his way to California, where he is currently in foster care, awaiting adoption into his forever home.
He has been thoroughly vetted and is currently in good health. As you can see from one of the pictures, it has been a long journey for him to regain his health and regrow his coat.
Please note that his tail and ears were cut and his nose was burned as a sort of 'branding.'
Attila is good with both male and female dogs. He has not been evaluated with cats, livestock or small children.
Attila is housebroken, walks on leash, knows basic commands and is good with both men and women.
Attila 's perfect home will be with a very kind, loving and patient person. A low traffic home without young children is preferred. Attila would love to have another dog in the home as a companion to him.
Attila is not available for long distance adoption.
