Meet Leila. She is a 2 year old spayed female Anatolian Shepherd Dog who was rescued from the streets in Turkey. Sadly, Miss Leila was the victim of extreme abuse, and, due to the viciousness of the attack, her injuries were so bad that the veterinarian had to amputate her front leg.
Leila is a very lucky girl, though, as she was rescued by a wonderful person and brought to the US in hopes of making a fresh start. Leila has bounced back from surgery and is enjoying life to the fullest. She has not missed a beat and having only 3 legs does not slow her down at all. Leila is able to run and play and she can even go up and down stairs!
Leila is friendly with people and is good with children as well. She is housebroken and leash trained. She knows basic commands. She gets along with her foster mom's chihuahua but she is protective of her food, which is understandable, considering where she came from.
Please contact Leila's foster mom for more information on adopting Coral.email@example.com
