Meet Miss Buttercup!

She is a beautiful spayed female Anatolian Shepherd Dog who "failed" as a working dog.  Buttercup is happier being with people than she is being with goats and chickens!

Buttercup's owner has indicated that she is good with children over the age of 8.  She has not been raised with younger children.  She is friendly with people and is a real love bug.  

Miss Buttercup is still very much a puppy so she will need you to guide and supervise her as she matures.  She is a very sweet, playful and cheerful girl.  She will make an excellent family companion and lifelong loyal friend.

Buttercup is good with cats.
Buttercup is good with dogs after introductions.  She may grumble a little at first meeting but after that she is okay.

Please be advised that Buttercup needs a fence that is at least 5 feet high as she will jump fences shorter than that.

Transport assistance within 1000 miles may be available depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route.

Secure fencing with minimum height of 5 feet is required on all adoptions.

Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
