FORT WORTH, TEXAS: **NEEDS FOSTER OR ADOPT**
Meet Ruby! T he girl who has everything – brains, looks, personality, and lots of love to give. Everything, that is, except a home.
Ruby was found as a stray, dragging a cable that was hooked to her collar, and was never claimed so NASRN stepped in to save the day and give this jewel the life she deserves.
She is a super sweet and loving girl, about 6 years old, with great house manners. Ruby is already housebroken, not a chewer, walks on a leash, and seems to knows basic commands.
Ruby has been fine with being crated, but really loves hanging out on the couch or in a dog bed. She’s a chatty girl and will let you know when she is not getting enough attention - and is strongly versed in the Anatolian paw. Due to this, Ruby will be happiest as the only dog with your undivided attention. She’s a big fat NO with cats – they are not her thing and her favorite pastime is chasing them.
Ruby is heartworm negative and ready for a home! Since Ruby has not been evaluated with livestock, she is looking for a companion home.
If you might be interested in fostering or adopting this jewel, please email us at email@example.com .
TRANSPORT OPTIONS : Ruby is eligible for transport to points along the east coast with a rescue transporter ($185). Also, depending on where you live, we can often help with transport within approximately 1,000 miles via volunteer drivers. There is no charge for this transport but the foster/adopter usually drives the last leg/increment of the trip.
We currently do not have transport options from TX to the NW/PNW. Adopting parties living in these areas would be responsible for arranging for their own transport.
