TEMPLE, TEXAS: **NEEDS ADOPT**

Bear is one very fortunate guy. He was rescued by someone that felt sorry for him when he was picked up by animal control and taken to a high kill shelter. She pulled him from the shelter, took him to the vet for vaccinations, had the vet give him a heartworm test (he was negative!) and then she put him on heartworm prevention. Now all she needs is to find Bear a permanent home where he has room to run and play and an owner that is familiar with the breed. Right now the only fence and yard that Bear has is a very small pen.

Bear is a loveable, 18 month old, intact male Anatolian Shepherd mix and weighs 85 lbs. He walks on lead, is crate trained and well-behaved, although like any youngster, he still needs some training. He loves to go for walks, play ball and chew bones. True to his roots, Bear is protective of his home and requires a securely fenced yard. If you are interested in finding out more about Bear, please contact Jenny at jma18.net.
