Meet Sally! Sally originally ended up in the shelter as a stray and was a put on the "code red" EU list because the shelter was full - but luckily NASRN was able to intervene, all thanks to someone opening up their home and offering to temporary foster! Since her close call, Sally has now moved into a longer term foster home and is looking for her forever home!

Sally is a beautiful female Anatolian Shepherd Dog mix. She is a sweet, pint sized girl at 65 lbs, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have plenty of love to give just the same - just look at that smile!

Unfortunately, Sally did test positive for heartworms. But we have started her on slow kill method and prognosis is excellent for full recovery with no lasting effects. But this hasn't killed her spirit at all! Sally is a loving and healthy girl who has many years of romping around with her friends ahead of her.
