Chief is a an approximately 2 year old, neutered male, who came to us as a stray out of Oklahoma after he was picked up after living under a building for several weeks. He was set to be euthanized and that is when NASRN stepped in to save this sweet boy - how could we ever say no to those eyes!

 

Chief is a true blue Anatolian.  He is intelligent, stoic, watchful and loyal.  He's going to do best in a home where he is the only male dog.  He should be okay with a female dog.  Chief seems to be okay with cats.

We do not have any way to test him with children.

We do not have any open foster homes so we are paying to board Chief. He is available for foster care, foster-to-adopt or adoption.

Transport assistance may be available depending on where you live. 

Rescue transport has delivery drops all along the east coast.  

We can also assist with transport using volunteer drivers within a 1,000 mile radius.
