DALLAS, TEXAS THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING Meet Amelia! This sweet girl was found living under a shed in someone's yard without them even being aware of her presence. Once she was taken into rescue it was discovered that she was chipped. The original owner was contacted and it turns out that she has been lost, living on her own, for 3.5 years. Three months after they adopted her from the SPCA they went on vacation. When they returned home, she was gone. Apparently her collar was found on the side of the road but she was nowhere to be found. That was 3.5 years ago and the family has since moved out of state and have another dog so they are unable to take her back. She is a beautiful girl and very sweet natured. She is wonderful with people and she gets along well with cats, however, she needs to be the only dog in the home. If you are interested in only having one dog in your home and want an easy going, laid back girl, she may just be what you are looking for! She is good with cats but needs to be the only dog. She loves to lay in the corner of the kitchen and look out the window. She has sloth speed, doesn’t get in a hurry and just loves to be loved. Please consider her. She’s so amazing. She just needs somewhere loving and quiet to finish her life. She such a gentle sweet soul. She deserves the best.
