Meet Derby!  He is a super handsome 2 year old neutered male Anatolian Shepherd Dog.  Derby's owners did not have fencing to keep him home so they had to tie him up. Realizing that's no life for a young, vibrant dog, they surrendered him to the shelter.

Derby is looking for a loving home with a securely fenced yard for him to safely stretch his long legs.  He's a good natured, friendly boy who gets along well with other dogs.  We have not had the opportunity to test Derby with children or cats at this point.

Transport assistance may be available depending on where you live.  In most cases, we can help with transport within 1000 miles, depending on the route and the availability of volunteer drivers.
