GAINESVILLE, TEXAS: ***ADOPTED*** Meet Peter! He is a super handsome neutered male Anatolian Shepherd Dog. Peter's approximated DOB is June 2019. He is a big boy, weighing a little over 100 lbs. Peter is fully vetted, microchipped and heartworm negative. Peter was picked up as a stray and not reclaimed. The shelters are always overflowing in the summer months and Peter needed out ASAP so we pulled him and transported him to boarding facility in Gainesville. He is currently looking for either a foster, foster to adopt or adoption. Peter is just a big puppy! He's very playful and energetic. He has been good with all of the dogs he has been introduced to. We do not have the means to test him with cats, young children or livestock. Transport assistance may be available within a radius of appx 1000 miles, depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route. Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
