Meet Nelly!
She is a beautiful young adult, spayed female Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees mix.
Nelly's estimated DOB is January, 2020.
Nelly weighed 70 pounds at the time of her spay (August 2, 2021). She is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and is in good health.
Nelly is a very sweet and cheerful girl. She is going to do best in a home where she will have another young, medium to large sized dog to play with. Preferably a male dog. She loves to run and romp with her foster brothers.
Nelly is also good with cats!
Due to her size and exuberance, Nelly will do best in a home with no children under the age of 8.
She is housebroken and knows some of her basic commands. Nelly is still very much a puppy and can get into mischief. She has been known to open an oven door and can be very crafty when it comes to counter surfing.
Nelly would love to be in a home with a stay at home mom or dad, someone who works from home or is retired.
She is a very happy and friendly girl and she loves to be with her people.
Nelly also LOVES water and loves to swim! You can see she is wet in some of her pictures.
This is a really amazing girl! She has a heart of gold and is going to make a wonderful, loyal friend, companion and guardian.

Transport assistance within 1000 miles may be available depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route. Secure fencing with minimum height of 5 feet is required on all adoptions. Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
