Meet Miss Ellie!  She is a beautiful spayed female Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees mix. Ellie's estimated DOB is December, 2020.   Ellie is fully vaccinated and is heartworm negative.

Ellie's owners were no longer able to take care of her and surrendered her to NASRN.  We currently do not have any open foster homes so Ellie is in boarding.  She is looking for either a foster, foster-to-adopt or adoption.

Ellie is good with other dogs and friendly with people.  She is housebroken.  She would probably like to have a playmate her size and age, otherwise she would need an active owner who is committed to exercising her on a daily basis.

Ellie's former owner had cats but they did not interact with her.  She has not been raised around small children so she is looking for a home without kiddos under the age of 6.

Transport assistance within 1000 miles may be available depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route.

Secure fencing with minimum height of 4 feet is required on all adoptions.

Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
