GAINESVILLE, TEXAS AVAILABLE FOR: FOSTER, FOSTER-TO-ADOPT OR ADOPTION Meet Sarge! He was recently pulled from the euthanasia list in a Texas shelter. He was picked up as a stray and no one came to claim him. Sarge's estimated DOB is September, 2020. It's hard to believe someone would let this guy go because he is as sweet as the day is long. Sarge is friendly with people and is good with female dogs. We have not tested him with male dogs or cats. Sarge is currently being boarded because we don't have an open foster home. He is looking for a foster, foster to adopt or adoptive home. Sarge currently weighs 87 lbs but could stand to put a few pounds on. He will continue to fill out, weight wise, for another couple of years. Secure fencing with minimum height of 4 feet is required on all adoptions. Most Anatolians are not well suited to apartment living.
