Birdie isn’t just a dog—she’s a presence. A powerhouse. A commanding, soulful, comical, whip-smart, water-loving, bossy queen of a dog with a personality too big for a bio. She’s the  self-appointed momma of the kennel , ruling her world with a mix of attitude, elegance, and that special Anatolian brand of charm.

She struts the hallway like royalty, head high, tail wagging, growling and barking with a sparkle in her eye and a smirk on her face. It’s not aggression—it’s Birdie’s way of saying, “I’m in charge here, darling.” She’s not into gentle parenting. She’s into respect, boundaries, and a little bit of sass.

But beneath the bravado? A heart as deep as her wisdom. She’s loving, incredibly intelligent, and fiercely loyal to her people and adores respectful children. She loves water in all forms—the pool, the beach, bath time—and carries herself with calm confidence in public settings.

Birdie is potty trained, keeps her kennel immaculate, and uses the doggy door like a pro. She does well with other dogs, but requires slow, respectful introductions and a handler who can read her cues and give her space when she wants it. She’ll let you know when it’s time to rejoin the group—on her terms, of course.

Birdie needs an experienced handler who understands that an Anatolian is not a pet—you don’t “own” a dog like Birdie. She’s your partner, your equal, your teammate. Treat her with respect and she'll give you her heart.
