HOUSTON TEXAS: NEEDS FOSTER or ADOPTION Meet Garth. He is a 1 yo male Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees blend. Garth made the unfortunate choice to try to cross a very busy highway and he ended up with both of his front legs being broken. He was actually very lucky, though, as the breaks did not affect any joints and the vet says he will make a full recovery with no lasting issues. Garth is friendly and has been good around other dogs thus far although he does not want to share his food when he is in his crate. Who can blame him? I don't like to share my food either! He's a very sweet boy that is looking for either a foster or adoptive home. He has about 4 more weeks of limited activity meaning he can't run around and wrestle. He is getting around quite well now but the dr. does not want him to get too frisky yet and should be outside only on a leash for 4 more weeks.
